NOTES:Early morning ride around Mosman and Balgowlah. Strongly considering a detour along Balmoral Beach with the extra climb back out. Pace is set at brisk due to the steep climbs but expected speed will be closer to moderate. Riders must be confident riding on steep hills with traffic. Coffee stop at either Balmoral Beach or Burnt Orange depending on how we are going for time.

NOTES:Briefing will start ASAP after arrival of train at 6:48. This train passes thru Town Hall at 6:00, necessitating e.g. the 5:34 train from Chatswood or 5:30 from Epping. The early start ensures traffic-minimal peace in the RNP. Coffee etc above Bulli Surf Club after 35km (8:30?) and early takeaway lunch overlooking Shellharbour after 76km (10:45?). Aiming for the 11:55 train home (Central 14:02), aborting ride at a stop before Kiama if nec. Extensive continuous riding. The flat Pace will be 22+ when unhampered. Pre-reg required, max 8. NOTES:Early spin out to Manly dam and back. Very likely to include an extension down to Balmoral Beach and back up on the return leg (It's a bit steep). Actual pace will be moderate (or a bit less if I'm feeling flat) but labeling as brisk due to the extension and many sharp climbs on the route that don't have run ups. Coffee either at Manly Vale or Frenchy's after Balmoral climb. Lights strongly recommended. Please ensure your brakes are in excellent working order before the ride for the Balmoral descent in particular. Cancelled if raining.
