Hard, hilly ride through Galston Gorge, Arcadia, Berowra Waters to Pie in The Sky for coffee. Return via Bobbin Head to Hornsby.


03/12/2017 Sunday Parramatta River Run

Starts at: 06:30:00 Corner of Mileham Ave and Oxley Ave, Baulkham Hills (Baulkham Hills Pool).
Ride the Parramatta River from the headwaters in the Hills District via Quarry Creek and Toongabbie Creek. Follow the Parramatta River and harbour bays and foreshores to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and North Sydney.

NOTES:This is the regular meeting of the Executive Board of Bike North Inc. where many major decisions are made. All members are welcome to attend and find out about what goes on behind the scenes or raise any issues with the Executive. Bring your bike if you like.


09/12/2017 Saturday Breakfast Point Punt

Starts at: 16:30:00 Meadowbank Wharf, end of Bowden St, Meadowbank.
Cross Parramatta river on John Whitton Bridge, ride through Rhodes and Concord West to Cabarita Ferry Wharf then Breakfast Point. Cross the river on the Putney Punt and return to Meadowbank on the riverfront route.
NOTES:Come for an early dinner at the Palace Hotel Tennyson Road. This ride will run in a clockwise direction, so we can be on the Putney Punt before the last river crossing at 5.30 pm. After fuelling up we will ride back to Meadowbank. Bike lights essential.

Starts at: 10:00:00 St Leonards Station, concourse.
Ride to Middle Head for a BYO picnic lunch and see the yachts heading to Hobart. Bring your sunscreen!
NOTES:This ride will be on whatever the weather. Bring a bit of lunch, a hat and sunscreen are essential, your bike lock, and something to sit on the grass, if you need to. Binoculars a great if you have them. We will have coffee on the way to our viewing spot at Middle Head. Please note: This is not a long ride, but there are plenty of hills.
