North Rocks rd, quiet in this early saturday morning shot, very busy in peak times, no provision at all for cyclists for many kilometres of busy major road. Pennant Hills Rd and Oakes Rd/ Jenkins Rd is a very busy peak hour intersection. Oakes carries the 'rat run' from further North on Pennant Hills Rd, Jenkins feeds from Pennant Hills rd further south. Long delays to cars, no cycle lane so you weave through the traffic, use the footpath (illegal!) or join the parking parade.
