Blind Intersection

At this point the cycle route leaves the shared path on Broomfield St and crosses Sussex St which continues west under the railway line viaduct. The cyclist crossing this street southward has great difficulty seeing cars coming from the west.

The intersection is made even more difficult by the open drain, which is not visible when travelling south (toward the camera) and a lack of clear direction as to where to cross. What this photo does not show is that cars come around another corner and under a railway bridge just before they come to this crossing.
