New Cycle Bridge

This bridge is at Cabramatta Creek between Warwick Farm and Cabramatta.

This is a brand new bridge that has been constructed for the cycleway to cross Cabramatta Creek at the southern end of Broomfield Road. We are looking north away from Liverpool. Just behind this photo the cycleway ducks under the railway to cross sides.

This is the best example of a bridge infrastructure along the new facility. It is about 3 metres wide between the railings and the single bollard is centrally placed. At this stage the bollard is not painted a light colour and does not have any reflective material on it.

As good as this bridge is, it may not have been the best option. It is clearly quite expensive and still prone to flooding. It has a dangerous road crossing not far to the north, and the bridge empties into a difficult car park and poor corner just to the south.
