Shared path downhill!

A shared pathway now follows along the road on the western side of the railway. Good quality 2.4 metres wide. There is an occasional obstacle such as these sign posts in the foreground. In the background several places can be seen where the path deviates around large poles.

Cyclists travelling down this hill could easily reach speeds of 30 to 40 km/hr so cause conflict can be caused with other path users. A wider path with less deviations would have been helpful.
