BNSW Ride Leaders Course

Bicycle NSW will be running the next Ride Leaders Course on Sunday 9th February . Bike North has been very involved in the course over the years and will be again for 2020. The Ride Leaders course is held at BNSW offices – Bicentennial Drive, Sydney Olympic Park.

The Rides Program of Bike North depends on a diversity of ride leaders putting on different rides, if you would like to step up to become a Ride Leader, speak with any of the Rides Committee members and think about doing the BNSW Ride leaders course. As well as a good overview of ride leading – the assessment tasks on the day cover some of the requirements of the BN ride leader apprentice program.

The other contribution you can make is to attend as a cycling volunteer for the day. Volunteering for the day means cycling around Bicentennial Park several times along with other cycling volunteers and allowing people on the course to practice their cycling-group leadership.
