Inaugural Spring Classics Weekend 2020

The Inaugural Spring Classics Weekend for 2020 will be in the Southern Highlands – with Bundanoon as the accommodation base and the starting point for the rides.

Explore Bundanoon and Southern Highlands by bike.  Rides will be at a gentle pace – with the whole point being to have a look around while we ride.  These will be led rides and conducted under the ride protocols of Bike North with a sign on sheet, briefing at the start, etc. Rides are mostly on road with some cycle paths or on-road cycle lanes. Due to Covid 19 restrictions there will be limit on the number of riders, and there will be protocols we will be following. This also means that the event may have to be cancelled, but we will assess this nearer the date.

There will be a similar pattern to other years, of an easy ride Friday afternoon, a medium ride on the Saturday, and an easy ride and some other sight-seeing options on the Sunday morning. For those who want to go a day early, there is an optional ride on the Thursday afternoon. The rides details are now on the Bike North calendar.  The rides on Friday and Sunday, will be different from those last year. The Saturday ride will still feature morning tea in Berrima, and lunch in Moss Vale, however, the new route will go around Oxley Hill, rather than over it!

Ride details on the Calendar: 29, 30, 31 October and 1 November.
