Join in a Bike North sight-seeing type of cycling tour taking in Canberra, Tumut and Tumbarumba.
Tour dates Friday March 19th – Wednesday March 24th.
A motel based tour – three riding days (two nights) in Canberra; one or-two riding days (two nights) in Tumut and one riding day (two nights) in Tumbarumba (on the Rail Trail). Car transport of people and bikes will be coordinated among the tour participants for movement between the three locations.
Rides will be graded easy medium to medium mostly on cycle paths in Canberra, on rural roads in Tumut and on the rail trail in Tumbarumba. Open to Bike North Members. Car transport will used to move between the three locations. Rides in Canberra will be led rides as per BN day ride protocols with a ride leader and sweep. Rides in Tumut and Tumbarumba will be offered as led rides and the option to ride independently in small groups at own pace (mud map will be supplied).
The tour numbers will be limited to 20 participants.
Costs: There are no fees payable for this tour. You will be responsible for arranging your own transport / booking motels – some suggested accommodation options are in the more detailed information sheet about the tour that will be emailed out to those who express interest.
