Out and About – the Oddities and more

In our final report on the Out and About Challenge we share some of the Oddity and Water Feature photos.

Andrew Elliston certainly found an oddity in a park in the Castle Hills district that could equally have been classified as a sculpture. Is that an elongated house without a roof or walls?

Lyness Beavis included a wonderful photo of the Fountain Clock in Hornsby and again it is so impressive it could have been a sculpture too.

We particularly liked Lyness’ water feature, where the water seems to change colour. Starting out turquoise and then falling through tan into frothy white.

Gerry Both’s water feature was interesting even if rather dry on the day.

And finally we particularly liked David Thomson’s grandson’s helmet which wasn’t officially entered as an oddity but loved it as odd as it was.
