A huge crowd of sponsors, riders and residents made the launch of the trishaw a very special event, at the Shalom BaptistCare aged care facility on Monday this week.

At least eight members of Bike North have become trained and certified as ‘pilots’, able to use the trishaw’s modern e-bike to take passengers.
It is a very special experience for the passengers. Each ride is a gentle loop on paths and quiet roads, lasting about 20 minutes. Residents love going out into the sunshine and fresh air. They come back with huge smiles as you can see in this video.
If you would like to bring your bike to the next event, you are welcome to ride along behind the trishaw as a ‘scout’, so you can see what it is all about.

Congratulations to John Kelman and the Cycling Without Age Sydney North team! Thank you, Julie Hill from BaptistCare, who has been so encouraging and enabling of the whole initiative.
