Here are two strategic cycleways for which Transport for NSW is seeking feedback. Both will complete links between existing cycleways or soon to be constructed cycleways. As always they need support, as do cycleways in general with an upcoming state election where, regardless which party wins, we will lose a very pro-active Minister for Active Transport.
King Street Cycleway – Clarence St to Pitt St
Your feedback by 6 February.
This completes the link along King Street – a major east west connector through the Sydney CBD. Click here for information about the King St Cycleway and to leave feedback.
Oxford Street East Cycleway – Taylors Square to Centennial Park Paddington Gates
Your feedback by 28 February.
This completes the link from the Sydney CBD east to Centennial Park and Bondi Junction. It will connect to the soon to open College St Cycleway (2nd iteration after Duncan Gay tore up the first) and Oxford St East where construction will commence this year. Click here for information and to leave feedback.
