Another Bollard Bites the Dust

Another dangerous bollard in The Hills has been removed as a result of action taken by Bike North’s Advocacy Convenor for The Hills, Brian Lynne.

The bollard in question, near the entrance to Caddies Creek Reserve, was blind to cyclists until they were within metres and showed evidence of a previous collision. In addition, with a further bollard before the playing fields, it served no purpose.

Brian is keen to get evidence of similar bollards so they can be removed.

If you see a hazardous cycling situation, such as this, you can use the app Snap, Send, Solve to report them to the relevant Council. Just imagine what 500 Bike North members could achieve in making cycling better in northern Sydney if we all reported dangerous situations.
