Just in case you aren’t aware, the re-vamped McIlwaine Park on Bray’s Bay at Rhodes opened last week – it includes a wide concrete pathway that runs from a northern point beside Concord Rd to the southern point at Mary St East near the approach to the Kokoda Memorial.

Unfortunately this is a very short length of pathway and wouldn’t really qualify as a cycleway, but the pathway and other new facilities, including a Barangaroo-style beach (but with real sand) are of high quality.
