NOTES:A quick detour through UWS for some art and architecture appreciation, a lap or two of the park with a coffee stop at the wharf. Return along the river, over Silverwater Bridge and through Bicentennial Park.

NOTES:An easier Moonrise - reducing the distance by approx 20km and removing the steep pinches around Castle Hill, we will roll down Old Northern Road and Seven Hills road to the start of the M7 cycleway. Coffee at Granatas Pemulwuy.

NOTES:Cycle out along the PVC - ride over the Parramatta Escarpment Boardwalk- continue into park - lap of park - coffee at Lake Parramatta - bypass Cumberland Hospital - cycle back under the M4 making our way back via Olympic Park.

Ride with few regroups from Seven Hills Station along shared paths, including the M7 Cycleway to a turn off to Sugarloaf Ridge then returning to Seven Hills Station via the Western Sydney Parklands Cycleway and back roads. 400 metres height gain overall.

A loop from Epping via Concord to the Gladesville bridge, utilizing paths and roads with great Harbour views. Return via Ryde.

Old Pacific Hwy to Calga then quiet roads to West Gosford. Cycleway around Brisbane Water to Woy Woy, return to Sydney by train
NOTES:A great opportunity for people wanting to extend their endurance. This is my first organised ride after a long break from riding because of travel and a cold, so I won’t be pushing hard. Ride at your own pace; we will have frequent re-groups to accommodate different speeds. It’s fairly challenging, through gorgeous bushland. There are three glorious descents and TWO BIG CLIMBS. Take-away coffee break at Saddles. I strongly recommend bringing two water bottles. We will start riding with 5 mins relatively easy warm-up.

NOTES:Meet just beyond the Platform 2 ticket exit . Ride to commence on time as Ferry at 10.06am, will not wait. History commentary on Island. Coffee on Island. Return Ferry at 11.49am to Barangaroo. Ride new foreshore route to Harbour Bridge. Bring OPAL card. Rain will cancel the ride due to our exposure on Island. Leaders on ride mobile 0493146720

NOTES:Note the gentle start time of 10 am. Today’s version of this ride will be relatively relaxed, taking time to enjoy the scenery and keeping below 22kph average. It’s a long ride, with coffee half-way through, back at Wisemans Ferry. We will build up the speed gradually, with a 5km warm-up.

NOTES:A pleasant afternoon ride from near Nelson Bay town to Fingal Bay and back. It is mainly on shared paths with some minor hills. A stop will be made at the lookout near Fingal Bay for whales.

This is 26 km, relatively flat ride. Ride starts at Dutchies and cycles to Soldiers Point via Corlette, Salamander Bay to Soldiers Point and back.
NOTES:A relatively short ride from near Nelson Bay to Soldiers Point and back cycling through Collette and Salamander. Most of the ride is on roads but a section of the return trip is on shared paths on the edge of wetlands.
