My bike riding days began long ago when I was in primary school - it was a great way to get around, and of course the roads were not so busy back then!

When I hit 30, I started cycling to work and bought a custom-made Ken Evans bike from Melbourne. I rode to work every day for 20 years.

I started riding with Bike North in 2015 after I retired. I have been riding pretty much twice a week since and really enjoy it.

I love exploring new places such as Botany Bay, Cronulla and Prospect Reservoir to name a few.

I’m always happy for a chat over coffee during the ride and meeting new people, combining this with great exercise in the outdoors is a perfect combination! I’m looking forward to cycling my way into 2021.
