Riders leave Sydney Harbour, through Pyrmont Bridge, Erskinville, and on towards 10km of southern beachside shared pathway stretching from Kyeemagh, Brighton Le Sands, and Ramsgate Beach through to Captain Cook's Bridge. The ride then continues via further waterfront shared paths before returning to the road through to Kurnell. There is an option to visit Cronulla (train station and cafes). (During this ride, the Ride leader may choose to travel on the road next to or near the shared paths).

Coffee will be enjoyed in Cronulla overlooking the beach, or on the way there and back.

After coffee, the ride will essentially retrace the route, however will use a range of backstreets from Sans Souci, and then divert at Wolli Creek past the Airport before heading back to Erskinville and Sydney Harbour.

Allow for 6 – 6.5 hrs hours including ride briefing, regroups, and coffee at a Moderate 22 kmh pace.

Riders are to have geared road bikes due to the hilly nature of ride sections.

While there are shared paths, riders also need to be comfortable cycling on the road/road shoulder with traffic.

Route hazards include on road/path items such as bollards, sticks etc. Riders to be particularly careful on shared paths with pedestrians and dogs that may unexpectedly move in front of the rider.

There are water fountains and toilets on route.

The ride does pass near or through several railway stations which would provide options for riders to leave the ride. Check how trackwork might impact these options. Optionally riders could turn around at any point and retrace the route, but please let the ride leader know BEFORE you leave the ride.
