An interesting ride across Sydney using mostly quiet roads and Cycleways. Lunch in Cronulla before catching train home.
NOTES:Pre-registration required. 2 route options: A) Standard ride, bring Opal card for return from Cronulla Station. Additional option B) Ride back with optional outs at Tempe/Wolli Creek, Mascot, Central. Overall pace Moderate with Flat sections ridden 22kmh+. Difficult hilly ride via Brown's Waterhole, St Ives, Terrey Hills, West Head, Akuna Bay, Terrey Hills and return.
NOTES:Saturday forecast is very nice. Must have water and food for this ride. Pace is fast will wait for people in West Head. Just be able to stay with the bunch there and back.

Scenic loop skirting the harbour to Neutral Bay via harbour lookouts, reserves, historical sites and aboriginal carvings. Lots of hills, a few short steep descents. Quieter suburban streets, 250 metres of unsealed surface.

Ride from Hornsby up the old Pacific Highway to Cowan and then down the hill to the Hawkesbury River. Turn around and climb the hill back to Pie in the Sky
NOTES:We will extend this ride by around 12km and ride through to Brooklyn for coffee looking over the water before climbing back up from the Hawkesbury. Riders must be confident riding with traffic.

A ride to the city from NW Sydney using popular commute routes on both sides of the harbour. Few regroups, some traffic and hills.
NOTES:The ride will be run early at a brisk pace. We will ride via Barangaroo to take in the view. We will ride through Five Dock and via Concord Hospital, rather than the busy Queens Road route. We will also ride via Chatham Rd and Eastwood to get back up the hill to Epping.

NOTES:Ride to Middle Head for a BYO picnic lunch and see the yachts heading to Hobart. This ride takes the scenic route to Middle Head. The ride returns to the start via a similar route. We start and finish at St. Leonards Station concourse. This ride will be on whatever the weather. Bring a bit of lunch, a hat and sunscreen are essential, your bike lock, and something to sit on the grass, if you need to. Binoculars a great if you have them. We will have coffee on the way to our viewing spot at Middle Head. Please note: This is not a long ride, but there are plenty of hills.
