Starting from Seven Hills Station, we ride gently uphill, along the Lalor Ck Shared Path, to the M7 Cycleway which we follow, with few regroups to the Light Horse Interchange at the 20 km mark. After refilling our water bottles here, we continue along the cycleway for another 8 km to turn off to the Sugarloaf Ridge Lookout and a toilet break. We then ride downhill to the Western Sydney Parklands Shared Path, which has toilets and water taps along the way, exiting the path at Pemulwuy then back roads through Girraween and Toongabbie to complete the Loop at Seven Hills Station.
As the route is mostly along shared paths, the main hazards are going to be oncoming cyclists, cyclists entering the shared path from feeder paths along the route and pedestrians.
Care must be taken on the M7 cycleway which has many right angled turns, which go underneath the M7 Motorway, and must be negotiated at a slower pace
Bale out points along the route are rail stations at Quakers Hill, Rooty Hill and Toongabbie
