Donating Unwanted Bicycles – Just one of the things you can do in Ryde in Bike Week

Ryde Council is hosting a pop-up collection point for Bikes4Life a not-for profit organisation that recycles bicycles for use as transport in lower income communities in Australia and overseas at Meadowbank Park on Saturday Sept 21st as part of Ryde Council’s Bike Week activities.  Drop by the netball court area of the park (at the end of Andrew Street) and donate your pre-loved bicycle.  If you have upgraded something on your bike like saddles or pedals when you bought a new bike and are not using the originals – you can donate them too.  Get a free coffee courtesy of Ryde Council  and chat about bikes and cycling and see what other bike activities for kids and adults are on at the same location.
