Overview:
Picturesque mixed terrain ride on quiet country roads with undulating hills along both sides of Macdonald River. Includes approximately 10km of gravel that is best suited to gravel or MTB bikes.
Features:
Views, history, roads hugging the beautiful Hawkesbury River (both sealed and gravel), car ferry river crossings.
Suitability:
Gravel or MTB bikes preferred.
MTB riders to understand that all but approximately 10km is on sealed roads.
Therefore approximately 10km being on gravel that would be essentially unsuitable to non-gravel or non-mtb bikes. Speak to the ride leader if you wish to discuss.
Route Description:
Ride to Webbs Ck ferry and on to St Albans for coffee following the Macdonald River. After coffee, return via the eastern side of Macdonald River which includes a 10km gravel section. Additional optional coffee at the end with a choice of cafés in Wisemans Ferry.
Other Notes:
1)Settlers Arms Inn does not open until 11am. Recommend bringing enough snacks and water for the whole ride.

may be used by Bike North for social media or promotional purposes. If participants do not wish to be
included in social media, they should make it known at the beginning of the activity or as soon as possible
and other participants must respect their wishes.
