Annual Bike North Tour de Cowra Event
This is one of the most favoured rides among TdC riders during the years since it was introduced. At 83 km it is fairly long and the terrain is challenging, compensated for by the amazing scenery! We used to be able to ride across the dam wall but nowadays that is not possible. Once you cross the dam the climbing begins again with a 6km long drag where the valley floor rises to meet you, only for both you and it to descend and climb again. When finally you reach the Scrubby Rush Rd turn take a break and prepare for the high speed downhill. It’s great fun but don't be fooled, there is a little more climbing to go, though none as steep as you’ve already done.
