Commencing at Windsor, this ride takes us along a section of the grass farms before turning towards the RAAF base then on to Richmond.
Leaving Richmond behind, we start our climbs towards Kurrajong Heights where a coffee stop is a welcome break.
Leaving coffee, we have some faster, open road sections before we descend to the Hawkesbury Valley and back to our starting point.
This ride is suitable for experienced riders who are comfortable on country roads. Whilst the amount of climbing does not look too bad, much of it is in the middle third of the ride with long, slow climbs.
Sections will involve cruising at well above the advertised average pace.
