Ride from Eastwood to enjoy a pleasant ride through Lane Cove National Park (optional extra climbs) with a coffee stop at West Lindfield.
Riders need to be competent with riding on roads with traffic.
From Eastwood we ride up Vimiera Road past Macquarie University and travel along Talavera Rd around Macquarie Centre to reach Lane Cove National Park. For those interested and energetic some extra optional climbs of Riverside Drive, Tunks Hill and Scribbly Gums, otherwise a tranquil ride through the park and wait a few minutes near the weir. After crossing the weir we ride up the short steep Depot Rd, thence ride past CSIRO labs, which brings us to a coffee stop at West Lindfield.
We then return to Eastwood via the Shrimpton Creek Trail and Denistone.
