The Greenway $42 million of high priority works linking the Bay Run and the Cooks River via an extension the Hawthorne Canal. The Hawthorne Canal section will be familiar to many Bike North members. It opens officially this Sunday 14 December!

We will then have a 6km walking and cycling path linking the Cooks River at Earlwood with the Parramatta River at Iron Cove and the Bay Run. It includes shared paths and foreshore walks, cultural and historical sites, bush care sites, eight new public artworks, along with a range of parks, playgrounds, a dog park and sporting facilities.

Our Ride Leaders are already looking at new and varied rides to include this superb new cycling resource.
