Notes for Saturday 12th September
Will use part of Bike North ride Kuringgai Streetscapes Extended to access Lane Cove River Park. Coffee planned at Roseville or further into the ride at North Ryde . Ride will be cancelled in event of severe weather or rain.
Ride Description
Scenic loop ride via the Epping Road cycle path and Bicentennial Reserve to Castlecrag for distant views from Tower Reserve and samples of Walter Burley Griffin architecture from the Parapet. We then view upper reaches of Middle Harbour and Willis's Castle from Harold Reid Reserve Middle Cove. The route returns via the tranquillity of Lane Cove River National Park riding close to the river for the full length of the park and exiting by a quiet route to the Epping Road cycle Path. Mostly on quiet roads and cycle paths. Includes some short steep hills.

may be used by Bike North for social media or promotional purposes. If participants do not wish to be
included in social media, they should make it known at the beginning of the activity or as soon as possible
and other participants must respect their wishes.
