Ride north from the Station on the 4km off- road share path which runs parallel to Pacific Highway (PH). Turn off at Mowbray Rd, to ride behind Chatswood Oval, turn left to cross PH, to ride through West Chatswood and down Fullers Rd to the Park. Ride close to the meandering river from the weir to the ticket booth near De Burgh's Bridge enjoying the tranquillity and bush views. Returning part way back to Scribbly Gum to exit the Park and to visit Lachlan Line via the double Helix bridge. After coffee, cross Delhi Rd to link to the Epping Road cycle path to complete a loop back to the Station.
The route uses mostly quieter back streets and cycle paths but needs to cross some busier arterial roads. Climbs are moderate or relatively short.
NB Our 4km start is different to the start depicted on current GPS, plus the Depot Road up to West Lindfield is closed.
