This ride contains several steep hills, including to 4 km long or more, but the effort is rewarded with a scenic outlook. We have to negotiate Lane Cove National Park past Browns Waterholes, then the arduous climb up Kissing Point Road to Turramurra. After riding through suburban streets, then the Old Pacific Highway, we ride into Ku-Ring-Gai Chase N.P., stopping at Kalkari Visitor Centre to use the amenities and to have a short break. Then the fantastic descent to Bobbin Head, then the ascent to North Turramurra and coffee. After the coffee, we can enjoy the descent of Kissing Point Road, and back to Epping the same way we came.
