Riders need to be confident in City riding; this ride is not suitable for new riders. Although low kms, the ride could take 2.5 hrs. Being school holidays, pedestrian and vehicle traffic should be light. This ride will take in some interesting architecture and art works in the City.
In the lanes off Pitt St cycle path and Australia Square, there are many engaging works of art. Listen to bird song lost in time at Angel Place. See giant blue beings in Art Gallery Rd, Art deco design in the Archibald Fountain and the War Memorial. See tiled doorways in Market Row. If time permits, cross into Pyrmont for a loop; otherwise, the ride continues along Barangaroo, Walsh Bay and back to Circular Quay.
