Riding from Canley Vale Station we make our way to Picnic Point taking a route that includes cycleways along Orphan School Creek to the Mirambeena parklands all the way to East Hills and then back roads to Lambert Reserve where we pick up cycle/walk ways to Picnic Point.
Once we arrive to picnic point, we will be walking up to a kilometre along board walks and a hard packed walkway to enjoy the beauty of the area.
There is an option to have a picnic here and enjoy the views or go to a nearby café at either Picnic Point or Chipping Norton.
On return travel is through a mixture of cycleways and back roads through East Hills, Holsworthy and Moorebank, and finally back to Canley Vale via the Parramatta-Liverpool rail trail.
Riders are to have a reasonable degree of fitness. The ride is mostly even gradient, there is on-road cycling and road crossings, as well as shared paths.
Route hazards include on road or path items such as bollards, sticks etc. Riders to be particularly careful on shared paths with pedestrians and dogs that may unexpectedly move in front of the rider.
Riders are to be aware there are not good options to leave the ride early. Optionally, initially only, riders could turn around at any point and retrace the route, but please let the ride leader know BEFORE you leave the ride

All riders wear an approved helmet and carry water, at least one spare tube plus a pump.

While on Bike North rides and activities, you may be photographed or videoed. Photographs and videos
may be used by Bike North for social media or promotional purposes. If participants do not wish to be
included in social media, they should make it known at the beginning of the activity or as soon as possible
and other participants must respect their wishes.
